HELP !! On my 1994 LT1 the key FOB operates the rear window lid and the passengers side door only. Does not lock or unlock the drivers side door. The toggle switch for the door locks works on both doors. Any ideas? Has anybody had this trouble ? Where's a good place to start? Thanks.....Bud
If you do as John suggests you may also want to lower the window & stick your head inside the car. You will then be able to hear & see the locks cycle.
Didn't know you could disable each door? Is that the procedure for enabling the Fob lock for each door? Is that in the manual? Also, the Fob does not lock the doors when moved away from the car. I'll try enabling the door and post results.... Thanks, Bud
Welcome to the forum! The fob's programmable. Look in your owners manual. As I recall, you take the key out of the ignition, hold down the lock button on the fob and the system cycles between locking one or both doors.

Now you'll have to be careful not to lock the keys in the car...
don't ask me how I know this, but if someone forgets that the doors lock automatically and leave the keys on the dashboard while he's working on the engine, sometimes you can shake the car to wake up the FOB and it will unlock the doors! :D
