untouched out of the box the AFR 190cc and 195cc heads have a flow advantage over the TRICKFLOW 200cc heads, with some porting the trickflow heads can be made to outflow the smaller AFR heads but by that time the cost of the trickflow heads plus port work exceeds the smaller AFR heads cost. I have trickflows twisted wedge heads on my 383 and by the time I got them to outflow the smaller 190cc AFR heads I seriously wished Id just bought the AFR 210cc heads
look at the flow numbers (those flow #s are at .400 lift) and youll notice the 190cc AFR head is the one you should use if your not a skilled head porter as its the one that matches your TPI intake ports , also keep in mind that if your not useing a cam with over .550 lift and .230 @.050 duration, and spinning your engine to 6000rpm plus the larger heads offer little if any hp advantages and may cost you some low rpm torquehttp://www.topher.net/~bearman/gmheadcomp.html
