After my throttle body rebuild I was trying to adjust my throttle posistion sensor. It stays at around .6 volts no matter where I move it. When the throttle is opened, is the voltage supposed to increase? I am thinking the TPS is bad. The car runs and drives good and I have no SES light so maybe I am reading it wrong. I read the voltage across the lower and middle wires.
Clip the voltmeter to a ground and probe the TPS connector to find ground (Blk wire on pin A), +5Vdc (Gry wire on pin C) and the signal line (Dk Blu wire on pin B).
The reading between the signal line and ground should vary from around .5Vdc to about 4.5Vdc as you open the throttle. You should then be able to adjust the base & WOT values by rotating the TPS around either of the two mounting screws.
BTW, remove the TPS and verify the sprag is hooked to the throttle lever or it won't move as you advance the throttle.
