Mirror Trunion.....How do you replace it?
I'm sick of my driver's side mirror doing the Macarena every time I hit a bump. I bought the new mirror trunion. How do I replace it? Does the mirror have to come off of the door? TIA

No, you don't need to remove it from the door. You'll have to pull the mirror part straight out. Most of the GM ones I've seen have the plastic clips that the trunion snaps into broken, not the trunion itself. Once you have the glass part off you'll see what is needed. :steering:
