hi,
i recently changed the fluid in my 92 lt1 zf6 and used the recommended castrol from the zf doc i bought from a bmw dealer, i read on the forum before i did the change that the capacity is 2.2 quarts, all the dealer had in stock was 2 quarts and i got all of the 2 quarts in, i needed to use the car right away but i did want to get the old fluid out of there first though, since i did the fluid change ive driven the car probably 500 miles with no problems will it hurt not to add the remaining .2 quart or will it be ok just to go with it like it is? i just use the car as a toy to for me and my wife to drive on sundays i don't race it nor do i drive it hard either so it has a pretty easy life most of its time is spent in my garage, the car is 100% stock and we enjoy it just how it is. so i don't think i'll be doing any mod's anytime soon.
thanx for any advise
by the way i am pretty green in the corvette world (about 4 months or so now) and soon after i bought my car someone told me about this forum and since ive asked some questions and gotten excellent feedback, there seems to be a tremendous wealth of knowledge here.
If it were me, I would get it topped off, you are at 10% less then where you should be. These transmissions are not cheap to fix and you are going to increase wear and tear running less then the required.

:withstupid: I agree 100%. Why risk it? Top it off!
