Code 33 problems
I have read endless Search atticles on code 33 related items. I hate to have ask open ? on such a documented item. My information 86 coupe, auto, 33,000 original. SERVICE light is alway on CODE 33 and I have done almost every item I read on code 33. Replaced or adjusted items Oxy sensor, MAF Relays, Clean TB adjust ICA,TPS, The question is: engine running MAF wire glowing red ??, I have tried to switch New relays around. HELP Which one is burn off Relay. New MAF is next or do I need a ECM update. Thanks Alot

The last item on the remedy list in the manual is to replace the ECM, but there is a note:
"Component replacement may not cure the problem in all cases. For this reason, you may want to seek professional advice before purchasing replacement parts."
It appears you have corrected every thing except replacing the ECM. Maybe some member can suggest a solution. Good luck.....

Did Corvetteforum [Search] Read over may times
Checked wires, electrical values, adjusted setting.
Changed out MAF sensor, still had idle problem and check engine light on.
So back to [Search] read about relays again.
Took electrical connections apart used contact cleaner, serviced terminal block near battery. NO more code 33, [I must have burnt the bulb out]
Still having idle issues, I reset the ICA, drove car for 25 miles.
All is well, Thanks to Corvetteforum and fellow C-4 owners my use of Search saved me money. My 2149 hookers are here, Guess I will be using Search again. :flag :hurray:
