Default Alarm or Computer Problem????

My 93 LT1 Auto with 71K had something the other day that had got me a little worried. I was backing up and quickly put the car in drive and blipped the throttle while going forword and the car died. I mean died. I went to restart it and nothing like there was no battery at all. The dash/idiot lights wouldnt come on, the windows wouldnt go up or down, turn the key and nothing. You could put accessory on and the radio would come on, but still no windows etc. I disconnected the battery waited five minutes reconnected and it fired up and ran as usual. I dont know if this is a computer problem or related to the factory alarm. A friend had the same thing happem with his Camaro LT1 and factory alarm occasionaly. Then today I noticed the alarm would not always arm when I walked away from the car. Once when returning it did not deactivate and open the car as usual. I opened it with the key and when I got inside the radio was on???????? Like it is when you turn the key off prior to exiting. Anyone ever heard of symptoms like this?

I'm assuming you are talking about PKE.

Mine is acting a bit strange. I'm pretty sure it's the battery in my FOB. My wife's works OK.
