99 wheels on an 84?
Hi guys, just popping in for a quick question.
I just sold my beautiful 84 coupe tonight and the guy is interested in buying the stock wheels off my 99 vert.
Will the 99 wheels fit on the 84?

He will require a spacer plate to make them sit correctly, the offset is too different.

Why did I sell my 84? I asked myself the same question as I watched it go up my driveway yesterday.
I bought her in 95, my first vette and my first mistress.
My wife actually was the one that picked it out of all the ones we looked at and since she picked me out of all the other guys in the world, I figured she must have good taste in the finer things in life.
The car was pure joy from the first day to the last. And at more then one time I have been heard to say that I would never every sell her but I got bit by the C-5 bug and did’t have the room in my garage for both and I was also having trouble justifying having two vettes when there are so many hungry vette wannabes out there that have none.
That 84 was the best handling Vette ever made, but at 62 I’m more interested in creature comfort then I used to be.
