Default Window problem!

I bought a White 94 LT1 Coupe last August. My first Vette and my gift to myself for retiring from the Marine Corps. Recently, my driver's side window has started having problems. Rolls down just fine, but won't roll back up unless I open and close the door or somehow jar the door a bit. Anyone else ever have this problem? Is it the switch? If so, can it be cleaned, or will it need replaced? Or maybe the motor?

Thanks!

Could be the switch contacts or could be a dead spot on the motor brushes. The jarring could be just enough to temporarily make it work. If it were the motor, it probably would be a lot more sporadic. I had this problem and it occurred 1 out of every 50 times, until I replaced the motor.

I would go along with the motor, as the jarring effects it's operation. Your switch is not in the door on the later C4 is it?
