Question for Hooker 2149 Users
According to the directions, you're suppose to use one of the supplied spacers and the stock stud for the alternator bracket. I just bolted the driver side on and there's no way to use the spacer or stock bolt for the bracket.
Am I missing something or did Hooker get a little creative with their instructions?
What are you guys doing for the bracket support if anything ?

I have the 2149s and the rear alternator bracket just plain won't work unless you fabricated something of your own. My '87s original rear bracket used the rear bolt on the #1 manifold and this one is totally blocked by the headers now. The spacers did work for the AC and dipstick brackets.

My '87s original rear bracket used the rear bolt on the #1 manifold and this one is totally blocked by the headers now.
What size hole did you drill for the EGR passage ?

I want to say something like 3/4". They are HARD to drill through. I almost killed myself with the drill a few times having it get stuck and torque me around. Definitely start small and be verrrry gentle.
