When I take off quick making a right hand turn...there is a thump that comes from the rear of my car...its repetitive...thump thump thump...and pretty quick...but it only does it when making a hard right at low speeds or when i stomp on it from a stop. Any ideas?
well...now the car is making a weird noise from the same area (rear left) that sounds like i have something in my tire...only much faster...this could also be the same thing?

Re: Odd noise (Torquem)
There's only one thing back there turning faster than the tire, and that's the pinion. If it's getting louder very quickly, it sounds like something very bad is soon to happen.
Better get under there and check everything ASAP! U joints are cheap, hopefully its that, and not a wheel bearing. Check for ANY movement in the wheel, and for slop in the u-joint. You should also try putting it in gear, and trying to turn the tire by hand to see how much slop there is.
