Smell gas?!

You don't even want to think about a gasoline fire back there...
And park outside.
The leak has to be coming from the tank itself or the fuel lines. If it was the tank, you shouldn't have to have the car running for it to drip--- it ought to drip all the time, or at least until the fuel level drops below the leak. Fuel line leak would get much worse when the fuel pump runs.
If you feel you can safely work around the car (with a fire extinguisher handy) you might drop the spare tire and crawl under there to have a look at the bottom of the tank and the fuel lines. You might be able to see where it's been leaking.

Check everything back there.....maybe you overfill the gas tank??????
Just my thoughts........

I'd suggest bringing home some gas cans, and topping the car off while everything is unbolted from there, so you can see where it's leaking hopefully. Remember, you can run the fuel pump during this test without running the car.
