I usually use Sunoco 94 in mine...wondering if anyone has tried the GT 100 and if it makes a noticable difference? Does anyone here use any gas additives in their Vettes...and what are they? :skep:
On a stock car I don't think the GT100 makes any difference unless you've advanced the timing or something and are getting knock. I've used the GT100 before but my car was having knock issues from trying to run too much timing in it.
i use it when im going to the track i figure it cant hurt but soon i have to use it all the time i think for the nitrous at 5.50 a gallon i get about 4 gallons put it in before i go who nos?

I never have used Sunoco GT100 but I use VP 103.
As for additives I use Xylene 117 octane :D
They have the 100 octane unleaded Sunoco here in Iowa. I've used it in the Vette (LT1) and it made no difference at all compared to the 91 oct premium that's normally available. However, in my old 440 powered Fury Mopar, it made a world of difference.
The only time I ever used 100+ octane was in a high compression race motor. The higher the octane the SLOWER it burns. That is why it helps with knock issues. If you have a stock motor just use premium fuel. Anything more is a waste of money. :chevy

Also with the slower burn comes more carbon buildup.
