I want to upgrade my stock suspension. The car just doesn't handle the way I want it to. I drive primarily on the street so I don't want rock hard I just want less mush, body roll, and more control.
I have about $2000 to work with and I will be installing myself.
Any and all opinions welcome
Save yourself some time & money by simply adding some Koni adjustable shocks, and a Camber Brace. I'm running those mods plus the Z51 sway bars front & rear and the car is almost too tight for normal street driving. It LOVES the corners though! :)
From the description of what you're looking for, these mods should be more than satisfying, and well under budget. You can always add the coil overs later if you like.
I'm planning on coil overs eventually (mostly for bragging rights), but unless you're into closed course racing that requires fine tuning at all four corners, they are pretty much overkill.
My car is also lowered about an inch all the way around as well which also helps with handling.
