Default Digital readout for water temp on 90 models?

I recently have been experiancing an issue with my water temp showing a high reading on my display. Upon reading archived posts, I see many post where owners are revealing exact temp readings and I am wondering if there is some way to access a digital temp reading which shows exact temps for 90 models. I have been going by the guage on my dash where theres a bar that moves according to temp range (minimum to max temp), but does not reveal exact numerical temps as seen by many posts thus far. When I got the car, the last owner lost the owners manual so I am wondering if there is a digital reading that I can access on the 90 model years. Thanks! :)

If there is, (not sure) try pressing the 'guages' button near the info center until you see the 'cool' diplay under your speedo.
But I realy dont know '90's. Sorry. :(

The only digital readings on my dash aside from the mph, is the fuel range reading. I'll try to see now if I can go through the selections on my dash to get a temp reading. I guess I better get an owners manual soon to figure this high tech stuff out. My last car (mustang gt) was quite a bit less tech. This is actually pretty cool. Hopefully the 90 model years have a digital temp readout. Going to check now...

BLACKBEAST2 is right. Press gauges button to show coolant temp, oil temp, and voltmeter in digital readout.

the 90 does not have this feature. I dont know what year it started, but the LT1/4 guys can click the gauge button or one of them and it will display a digital number for water temp, probably all of them, but only one at a time, and you have to toggle through them. I only saw the water temp and voltage on an LT4.

If you had a scanner of some sort, you could plug it into the ALDL and see what the temps are at etc...

I am sorry. I guess I stand corrected. I thought since you dash looks just like mine you would also have the option of using gauge button to scroll through the readouts. Sorry.

Here's a tech tip on how you can get a digital readout on 90-91 cars. I was unaware of it til recently. It works great, but only gives the readings in celcius.

My 91 doesn't have this 'feature'.
Wish it did.
