Default Clutch Problem

I had a clutch put in 15k miles ago and I am getting chatter when I take off in first gear. The clutch isn't slipping at all and I don't beat the car enough to only get 15k miles on a clutch. The flywheel was resurfaced with the special technique required to do so at the time of the change. (At least that's what they told me). Is it possible there is oil leaking on the flywheel or some explanation for this problem?

What kind of clutch was put in? Stock replacement or aftermarket?

Could be a rear main seal leak getting to the surface of the flywheel or could be the flywheel has failed, or even possibly the clutch disk is loosing a puck.

As far as I know it was a stock replacement.

There is no resurfacing that flywheel.

A number of things come into play here...

1) The dual mass. the rubber material that buffers the 2 masses is vulnerable to the lubes used during cutting.

2) The surface is not machined smooth, it has a slight bow it it. If you machine it flat, it won't grab right, apparently.

I am betting on the flywheel as being the cause, but the friction disc is the real problem.
