Security shade won't secure

Security shade won't secure
Purchased my '94 last Sept. and the security shade worked great. Now when I pull it out, it only goes about 3/4s the way and will not stay in place. Am I doing something wrong? Suggested fix?

You need to pull it forward till it's side pins will slip into the two latches on either side of the hatch.
You might remove it and see why it won't unroll fully.

Mine did the same thing....the only way out was to buy a new one....then everything was OK...................

I had that happen to me recently. I wound up pulling the whole shade out and rewinding it. Somehow, the shade itself got folded on the roll. I can't explain it, it just did. I'll be honest, removing it was kind of a PITA. You have to hold your mouth just right!!!
