After the rain I was going up a on ramp and when I downshift the car spun and went up over a very small curb (rear tires first) and into the grass and spun again before coming to a stop. The car seems to be fine belive it or not besides a broken front spoiler and lots of mud. What should I check because this was kind of rough on the car

i had a similar mishap a few years ago, cept a rather large curb. look at your strut rod & locating rods?? is that right? make sure their straight. mine all looked like horseshoes.
Hey, Ive had the car for 6 years and like to have fun with it. As we know this time of year when the weather changes the roads can become slick when wet due to oil rising to the road surface. Ive never lost control of this car ever in any weather. I guess it was just one of those things a learning experience that could have been alot worse.
As has been mentioned, alignment and under carriage checkup.
I had similar experience last year but no curb just wet grass and some mud on shoulder of road. darted right to avoid rear ending car in front because i had my head up my ****, went off onto grassy shoulder area, fortunately not much slope to it but I still did at least one 360 before got it stopped. Lots of mud but that's all. You haven't lived until you laid under your car in swim trunks with a hose and blasted mud off for damn near an hour. Emerged looking like a yetti.
Did it ride down the road ok or was it noticable? Mine is an 85
um, no, it towed fairly decent though. i spun it around to avoid t-boning a @#%$^ taxi that ran a stop sign. he kept going by the way!!!! but it broke the rim off of the wheel center , etc etc. not too bad though. gave me a good excuse to get some smart struts. otherwise , woulda cost me less than $200 plus the wheel to fix.
One of my good friends did the same manuver in the dry. He downshifted and spun the backend around and went sideways over curb, breaking the wheels, rotors, ripping off part of exhaust, busting oil pan, and doing enough damage to total his 00 c5 6spd. I guess turning off the asr and the driving school in San Fransisco he attended a month earlier didn't help.
