I have a Z07 wiht 307 gears. Would like to change gears, possibly to 373's but undersatnd the pumpkin won't accomadate the gears. Does that mean I would have to swap our the entire axel? I am concerned what that may do to suspension attachement points.
Can you give me an idea what needs to be done and how much somthing like that might cost!

You have a Dana 36 carrier in the automatic, there are 3.73 gears available for your carrier.
The bigger D44 carrier is stronger and has more gear options, it wont mess up the suspension points because its the carrier used in the manual vettes, You should put in the D44 if you like to drag race alot.
