Door panel removal?
I have a 94' coupe and the drivers side door panel keeps wanting to come off like around the top (at the window) and at end (opposite the hinges) anyone have any drawings or info on how to remove and re-attach the darn thing?
 thanks

Re: Door panel removal? (caddy)
Have the same problem on my '95. Took it to my mechanic and he tried to get it back on. Says the panel appears to be warped and won't line up right at the top. If two of us have this problem, we obviously can't be the only ones. Can't find an article on CF site. Please post if you've dealt with this. Thanks.

Re: Door panel removal? (lspalding)
I have a portion of the C/F article that addresses the problem Caddy related to. It shows when to locate a fabricated lip to correct the problem. It doesn't show a lot, but will give a picture of what they did. I can e-mail it to you if you like. My address roman67844@cs.com.

Re: Door panel removal? (richy rich)
Someone saw my post and sent me this, See what you think about it
maybe it will help us fix our problem???
I would like to speak to you about your door panels. I
have checked the CORVETTE FORUM and thus far you haven't received any
helpful information. I also have a '94 vette that had the problem.
Unfortunately the CORVETTE FEVER article solution is not a good one, it
will only make your problem worse. (They want you to extend the top of
the door frame.) I bought my car two years ago with the problem along
with a few others. After some trial and error I've solved this defect.
I've recently removed my panels (yes, panels... because if one is doing
this the other isn't far behind) to inspect my work. They look as good
today as the day I fixed them. I am currently in the process of setting
up a business to repair the door panels from '94, '95, '96 Corvette's I
hope to be running in no more than two months. At that time I will also
have prepared detailed instructions on the removal of the door panels. I
have also gone to CORVETTE CARLISLE several times to check the used
market, and nine out of ten show signs of failure. New replacements run
in the range of $600.00 each. So at this point I guess that I'll ask you
if you would be interested in having your door panels repaired? I do
need you to put up with them for a few months though. If you are
interested respond at this e-mail address.
Thank you
