when I drive i feel in the steering wheel small movement back and forth. And whn I turn right it getting worse, I also has a thumping kind of sound from the front. Possible front left wheel bearing? How to check?

Hmm...

Not a lot of info to go on but,

1. Check the tires first. They may be worn, out of round, unbalanced, etc.

2. Check the brakes. Pads and rotors. If the rotors are warped you'll feel it in the steering.

3. Have you had the wheel off lately? Are the lug nuts tight?

4. Maybe worn shocks. Look for cupping on the tires.

These are just a few items to look at before you go all the way inside to find the bearings are OK. There could be other problems but you might check these out first and repost if you find nothing. Good luck.

tires are ok.
Could be warped rotor but I dont feel anything when I brake?

My wheels have been off for some while during my rebuild.

how to look for worn shocks?

What is "cupping on the tires" ?

Cupping is where the tire tread is worn on the outer surface into a shallow area or cup. You can see it by running your hand over the surface and noting the rise and fall of the tires tread. It feels kinda wavy.

Worn shocks are evident by thier responsivness when depressed. If you push down on the fender over the tire and release, the fender should rise and settle back to its original position. If the fender goes up and down several times the shocks are worn and wont absorb the road bumps. Also check the surface of the shock (lower yellow painted area on the Bilstiens) for wetness. The shock may be leaking fluid which is an indication of wear on the seal. Lastly check to be sure the upper bushing on the shock, as well as all rubber bushings on the suspension, are in good condition. If the bushings are worn out or missing you will have metal to metal contact therefore the "clunking" sound.

If you had the tires off during a rebuild were the hubs removed for any reason? If so are they reinstalled per the manual? If the axle nut isn't tight enough to seat the bearing properly then the hub will slide back and forth on the spindle. Check this by jacking the car and pulling out and in on the tire. If the problem is here you'll know right away. This should also answer your bearing question.

Finally check all of the nuts and bolts on the suspension for tightness. Look at the tie rods and sway bars, "A" frame mounts, and steering box connections for any loose and worn parts. Jack the car securly and wiggle, push, pull, and twist all of the parts on the suspension.

That's about all I can come up with right now. I hope this helps. Good luck.
