Re: Recall or TSB on monoleaf delamination problem? (vetracer)
I wonder if it's a bad batch, you know, like a bad batch of tires (Firestone recall/flipping Explorers).
Maybe the process of manufacturing the spring has some critical temperatures or portions of epoxy or lamination fluids and they got it wrong for a bunch of them.
The delam seems to happen on many years of Vettes though.

138,000 miles not a problem. I dont believe the wheel cleaner idea at all, just my 2 cents.
There is a warning in the Helms that advises to keep all cleaning chemicals away from the spring(s). Also says damage can be result of allowing the chemicals to react with spring composition. Just my .02 too. :D

You can check Bulletin Titles for your Year at http://www.alldata.com or see if anyone has filed a complaint at http://www.nhtsa.gov - you can file your own too. Never had a problem with mine.
