Cheap fix for bad precats?
My driver side precat is rattling badly. I also recently gutted the main cat which fell out in pieces when I dropped the case. So I'm 99% sure the precats are bad too. I plan on getting headers in late summer or early fall. I don't want to spend much money on fixing the precats now(like buying new Y pipe) since I'll be replacing the whole thing anyway down the road. Is there a cheap way to fix the problem for now? Thanks

I want the car to at least LOOK stock until the headers go on. I can get a new Y made for $125, but I don't want to put good money after bad later on.

I have a stock Y out of my 90 with punched out cats that you are welcome to try out. I sold my stock headers so I'll probably never put it back on.

Awesome! Bring it with you Saturday. I live 2 blocks from the start point so I can drop it off before the cruise.
