This may be more appropriate for the Scan & Tune forum but there seems to be more activity here.
I've developed a scan tool software package that I use on my '95 Vette. I'm thinking about expanding and selling it for use on all later model Vettes (L98, LT1, LT5) excluding '96 and newer. I don't want to go through the trouble unless I can make a few bucks to pay for my hobby. Do you think anyone would buy it?
Currently it logs data from the PCM, CCM, TCS/ABS computers. It records and plays back, graphs, shows a "dash view", MALF codes, etc. Export to Excel or Access, etc. It does not download or upload the FLASH, it's a scan tool only.
BTW, it's also currently coded for 90 and 91 F-Body (my Uncle's car).
It comes on how much the price, and how it works..
Is it a plain recording device that you later download the raw data to a pc in a text file format (those you can get cheap off ebay already), or is it a nice setup with a on-board display and menus, etc.. etc...?
It does more than just record, it displays a real time graph of multiple parameters (you define what), analog gauge display, etc. I probably wouldn't want anymore than $30 or so. I'm just not sure it's worth my time to put it out there.
