ok. My mom is a Brit... the last time I checked, "squab" is a type of chicken...
so, I am left with a big case of the confusions...

Re: very technical question ........ (bogus)
Oh - sorry! yes I think a squab is a very young chicken or pigeon, but in this case I mean the horizontal part of the seat that you sit on. Mine just lifts out, and underneath there are some elasticated straps about 2" wide to support it. hooks for 4- Iv'e got 2.

ah. yes... I will have to check... my 92 has the same basic seats... and I think mine has 4 such straps. now, its possible your straps are wider than my seats straps... but I will check when I go outside. expect a reply this evening, my time, eastern, USA... :D
