1992 C4 LT1 , I recently did some work on the air con testing electrics etc , that is now all sorted but since then the Service Ride Control light has come on , seems a bit of a coincedence , does anyone have any ideas as to what I might have disturbed or what to look for to correct / reset the light , can the onboard computer be interigated via the adl socket etc and if so what codes relate to FX3 . HELP .
Re: Service Ride Control light on Help ?? (autocolor)
I would check the senors conection at the front shocks first, and yes you can pull the codes by jumping A&B. I had the same check ride control. Turned out that the adjusting **** on top of the shock had cracked and broken, on my '93. Those shocks are not cheap to replace, at the dealership, I DONT Recommend buying them there of course, if you want to be able to adjust from inside the car. I think Ecklers or MAD has them for 200.
Slightly cheaper ones are available, extrernally adjustable.
Wish I could remember the exact code you'll get for each wheel, but lack of coffee and old brain don't allow for it this morning.

Re: Service Ride Control light on Help ?? (autocolor)
If you haven't moved the car after turning the ignition switch to the "Run" position more than 3 times, the SRC light will come on. Once you haev moved a short distance, the car the light will go off but a history code will be set.
Re: Service Ride Control light on Help ?? (autocolor)
If you need to pull the codes, you jumper A and C (not A and B) then turn the ignition to on without starting the car, wait about 5 seconds, then read the blinks of the src light.
