hunting idle.

WHen the car is cold and i crank it my idle goes up to aaround 1200rpm at once and then drop fast to about 800rpm and then up again. It does this about 1 minut then its stabel again.

could it be a "slow" iac? Caus it idles perfect after about 1-2 minuts?

Have you re-programmed your ECM? Hunting idle can come from both the Fuel Map and Spark Table requiring tuning. Or a vacuum leak.

yes.

But if that whas the reason wouldent I have a "hunting" idle all the time?
My idle is steady after 2 minuts?!

Sounds like your hunting idle is taking place in Open Loop. That's fairly typical especially if you have installed a more radical cam. the IAC's are trying to achieve the idle parameters you've set without killing the motor.
If you can reprogram the ECM, you may want to richen the Open Loop idle a bit and make it more consistent between the 400-1200rpm range.
