Wow thanks that's about $35.00 cheaper than the Lingenfelter 213 Cam. :)

Exactly! I bought it from LPE only to receive a Blue Racer cam with a shipping label on the box from LPE.

Well thanks for the tip, that might be the Cam I'm going with. ;) Have you ever dynoed your Vette and how is your idle?
Oh and what were your 60ft times at the track?
Thanks bud!

Okay, here's a question that is surely relevant to the situation here. Just had my late 86 block to the machine shop today to get the bores mic'd. Bad news there, but another story. Asked about roller cam and the machinist and owner of the shop advised he could drill and tap the bosses for the spider/octopus or whatever they call that retainer and with that all I needed was the rest of the OEM hardware. Whadda y'all think of this. I'd love to have a roller, but now that boring is in the cards, that is out. Thoughts anyone.

I have the idle around 800-850 in drive and it is smooth.

Non roller to roller
1) comp retro roller lifters $430 at summit
2) set of roller rockers $300
3) Lingenfelter retro kit (button and spacer for Cam) $40
did not need special special distr gear for 219cam.

Damn this has really got me going back and forth in my head.
Is a Roller Cam that much of a noticeable gain over a flat tappet with the same profile?
My goal here is consistent mid to high 12's on the motor and anywhere in the 11's on a 100 shot.
My mods thus far:
Ported Plenum
Ported stock base
AS&M Runners
SLP 2400 Converter
Hooker Long tubes
3.73 Gears
Air Pump Eliminator
Pulleys
24lb SVO Injectors
Open Air lid/K&N
All the free mods (TB Bypass, Ported MAF, ect......)
NX Wet kit
