Digital AC control stuck on 60
I posted something about this befoe but wanted to get more input....the digital AC control in my 86 is stuck on 60 it will give the outside temp just fine and works ok but sometimes kicks on the heat when I sure don't need it,
So if I replace the control unit should it fix it or is there some AC brain hidden in the car and the thing in the dash is just the control part?

I have some more to the story....I have been working on the weather strips and left the dome lamps on all night, my battery was beyond dead,:mad I put a charger on it and tonight when I took it out it lit up "check engine soon" and "low coolant", the ac control readout was no longer stuck on 60 but only blew heat, I went into a store and the second time I started it all the warning lamps stayed off and the ac controls now work with the exception it starts at 60 jumps to 65 then will go one degree at a time up to 90:confused:.....no method to the madness...... :banghead:
