On my 92, my electronic AC control module is acting strange. Periodically, the little green light above the Auto button, and sometime the light above other buttons, blinks. It then seems to go back to "normal", not blinking. I have not been able to figure exactly when and why this happens, but everything operationally, heat, AC, Defroster, seem to work fine. Thought I saw somewhere that this might indicate a stored error code, but any info, help or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
The light above the Auto and other buttons flashes if there is a problem with the system , usually low pressure .
Check the charge level and then you need to "reset the system" this is done by removing the coutrytessy and radio fuses for a minute or so ( everthing switched off ) , replace them and the light stays solid .
Best of Luck . Mike .
65Z01, Thanks, I did the diagnostics and came out with a 00, no fault, code. I guess I'll just count my lucky stars at this point and monitor things for now. Those were very helpful, Thanks again.
Hey 65Z01 - would you please send me the diagnostic info you sent to Mikesa? I am having serious trouble (as in the compressor clutch has never engaged) with my AC also. Thanks! :yesnod:
