well since this one is about to die and 300 mph was mentioned.
Does anyone know how much power this car makes?
I know it is a TT small block, and 1300-1600 HP comes to mind from when I read the article years ago, but I cant be certain. it does 300.7 mph on the salt

A 1.1 million dollar Mclaren has 627hp and weighs less than 2800lbs was built in a wind tunnel and will only do 231mph.

Turbo and Hi Tech mag in 87 featured car with 454 twin turbo making 15oo hp at 38psi. 283mph at 6971 rpm. It only says he was shooting for 312 mph on another run when drivetrain collapsed. In 85 Banks built a 1100 hp firebird to run on the street.
