Keyed lug socket
belle tire lost mine, is there anyway or where to order one of these for my 87, I really dont want to air chisel it off...btw if you want the full story read my post "bad service" in general

If they are the stock locking lugs, and you have the code they are available from GM. If you don't most tire shops have the the tools to remove them. When my father-in law lost his I removed them by finding a socket that almost fit and hammered it on over the lug, doesn't do either the nut or the socket any good, but you will be replacing the lugnuts anyway. It worked like a charm, bit of trouble getting the nuts out of the socket, but a vise and a drift pin will work. Hope this helps.

When I bought my 96 the guy had lost the socket. I bought a new set (lug nuts and socket) from GM. Most good garages will have a tool that they pound onto the locking lug nut and then back it off. Simliar to what c1c2c4 said. Don't let anyone near your wheels with an air chisel. If the garage says that's what they have to do then go to another garage. Good luck. :smash:
