This is hard to answer..if your engine is still in the car,take a measuring tape and measure how much room you have left from the stock damper.Most of the time,some hammering on the frame down there will provide some clearance.Reason I say its hard to say is because for some reason,depending on motor mounts,etc,some engines may sit a tad bit higher/lower than others.I was always told the 7 inch and larger dampers wont fit,but Id never seen for myself if this was the fact.But id sure hammer some of it down to be sure if I was adding one.Use a BFH to make the dent.
