I’m very happy with the customer service from Frank (1-954-421-7003) at Fuel Injector Clinic. I bought one of his custom plenums to fit a Holley StealthRam intake in my C4. I initially had some reservations about the number and location of bolts on the plenum lid. Frank added two bolts to the front and rear edges of the plenum at my request for free. This required welding some material to the plenum so it wasn’t just a matter of drilling and tapping a few extra holes. I think (?) he’s made this standard now so he doesn’t get questioned on it anymore – even though he said it wasn’t necessary for a good seal.
It took Frank a little longer to get the plenum to me than originally promised so he called to let me know and polished it for free (looks awesome). He then called to let me know when it shipped and then called a few days later to make sure I received it and was happy. It was very pleasant to deal with someone that knows how to treat the customer well.
It’ll be a while before I install it so I can’t vouch for the performance yet. It sure looks nice polished. I’ll post some pics this weekend.
That is a very nice plenum. This is by far much better than the other one I have seen pictured on this forum. The quality, construction and potential make this the right choice if you want to use a Stealth Ram.
Hey torque, if you ever need a second pair of hands let me know! I'd be more than happy to help. I'm right in your neck of the woods. See email in my profile.
Ralph, I don't have good flow numbers yet. I've just played around to see how it flows in combination with my AFR195 heads. When I've done more careful testing I'll post actual numbers. While I have no doubt the stealthram flows around 280 cfm by itself (I've seen these numbers mentioned before but I haven't tested it that way yet), it's not a good way to test an intake. You really need to test it in combination with your heads.
Vette9d1 - It will hurt torque in the midrange but it should be better than an LT1 or miniram in that respect (based on runner length).
Id85, I'm not sure on a cam yet - it will be hydraulic roller. I'll decide after I've finished porting the heads and intake and have final flow numbers.
Onyx - thanks for the offer  I might take you up on it sometime and would be glad to give you a hand if you ever need it.
