Vacuum Leak?
I am getting a slight backfire through the plenum when I hit the gas lightly; if I back off and punch it she cranks right up to 5200. I checked the vacuum and it’s running a sold 17lbs, no movement in the needle. If I had a leak would it do that?
Given my cam and other mods that does not sound bad, but I just replaced the runners with SLP's and I’m not sure if that’s it. I also disconnected the battery and my car usually runs like crap for a few hundred miles after "resetting the computer".
Any thoughts (other than always punch it) :cool:
