Nitrous pressure question
TNT Wet 150 shot
NX Express bottle heater
Super rammed 383
When my bottle was full, it would read around 1100 psi (give or take).
Now, I am guessing that my bottle is about half full. It reads around 750-800 psi.
I turn the bottle heater on, but I never really gave it that much time to heat up.
How much will the bottle heater raise the psi to?
But my main question... is there a direct co-relation between psi and power output? Full pressure (1100 psi)=100 % power output. What about 750 psi?

You need to get your bottle between 900 to 1200.
Less or more is not good.

Re: Nitrous pressure question (black_89_vette)
PV = nRT.....So both temperature and weight of nitrous (moles) will have an effect on your bottle pressure.
I can say though. I am new to nitrous, but have noticed that i can just have my bottle filled, open the valve, and only be at 700 psi.
Or, when its about empty, I can get into the car on a hot day, and see that its at 1100 psi.
I think temperature has more an effect, even though the ideal gas law states they both have an equal effect.
Use a bottle heater/ insulation blanket to get your bottle pressure to the proper level.

Freeze your bottles before you get them filled. This will help. Keep pressure between 950-1150

Why would you want to do that? That would drop the pressure..

Re: Nitrous pressure question (fsr402)
Yes, it drops the pressure, which allows more nitrous to go in when getting filled.
It is a standard practice when refilling.
