I am just about to get my car back from the shop, with a Hydraulic roller cam as follows:
lift w/1.6 RR's: .566, dur@050: 214/224, LSA:112.
My springs are comp cam 941's, with a spring force of 359 lb w/ full lift.
Question is: With a combo like that, am I going to have to replace the cam and lifters every 40 k mi or just the springs? Assume a well oiled machine, and not too much high rpm use, mostly 2000 rpm cruise use.
I dont think you have to change the cam and lifter every 40K because you have roller lifters but you may want to check the springs to see if you need to change them.
