Okay...this has been a way fun day, just wanted to replace the signal flasher and ended up tearing most of my dash out...
My car is tan inside I planned to change it to black, the door panels are crappy the carpet is faded seats are super...anyhoo,
working over on the passenger side I checked out that under dash carpeted pad like thing, looks like a bear to remove or I'm I missing something?
Thanks, C
Re: How do you remove under dash carpet pad? (The13Bats)
No you did not miss anything. It is a major GM screwup. There are nuts above the pad that need the dash pad removed to access. Four of them I think. After I got mine out I cut off a couple of the studs to make future removal easier. Also replaced the stupid dash "breadloaf" with a flat panel.
Drivers side is easy. Two bolts in holes and a couple of screws. Makes you wonder why they couldn't have done the same on the other side. :cuss
