Default Early C-4 window regulator upgrade question

I own a early 86 (iron heads). I've been fighting the plastic ribbons on my window regulators for a year. Finally gave in and purchased used 88 window regs that are the scissor type. This is the question- Where do I get measurements for hole placement on bottom of door for the lower regulator mounts? Is there some pattern out there for proper location? I figured 2 holes would have to be made in bottom of door for bolts to mount lower regulator frame. Has anyone done this? Your guideance would appreciated.

I did this and one of the holes was already there. I measured over from it to drill the second hole.

I bought a new one, and it came with a template with measurements for the holes. Unfortunately I don't still have the measurements. Maybe someone else on the forum does.

I'll have to check again. The only hole I noticed was the original mount hole for the old reg- totally different location ( forward on the door).
