"Check Engine"...........Well F
ok start the car this morning and i get a CHECK ENGINE light. I am gonna pull codes later today. Anyone have a reference for what the codes mean? Thanks

Good news, problem went away time lunch came around and no codes were present. :crazy:

You still need to puill the codes and see what caused the SES light to illuminate.
You 'may' be able to head off an upcoming problem or at least get a little heads-up on it.
Could be nothing important but when your car talks to you, you should at least listen.

Well when i hooked up the computer to the scanner no codes were present. So i got nothing.

If the check light comes on, the ecm stores a code. It remembers the code until you reset it by disconnecting the battery cable for 10 seconds.
Soo... are you sure you checked it right? You don't need a scanner, a paperclip will work fine.
