Default Question about a computer chip?

Has anyone used a Motorvation Electronic Corporation chip before? I saw it at Summit Racing. I called and they said it compares to a Hypertech. If anybody has used one tell me if you noticed any improvement over stock or comparison with Hypertech/comparable chip makers.

NEVER buy one of these generic chips.

The only time you must change the chip is when you modify the engine, especially a cam change. Only then will you get a real gain, and thats because the chip is customized for your mods.

If you want your fans to come on earlier, get a fan switch, or ask someone here to reprogram your current chip. Dont expect power gains.
