All I know is that the clamshelll hood is heavy.....and awkward to handle....

and some are made of different material too.
i just did a one-man messure of my hood.
roughly its 5'7" long, and 5'8" wide :confused: :confused: although that doesnt sound right at all....i had thought it must have had to been 8'

Corvette specs book list the hood at 75 pounds. I am :skep: of it.
