...Buick... I just bought a 37k mile '86 Grand National from a buddy. Always wanted one...SWEEEETTT.... I think I'll leave it alone, though...It's pretty much stock... :reddevil

For what, a month or so....it's just too easy to bolt on a larger turbo, bigger injectors, etc and increase the power exponentially on those cars. If you're sincere about keeping it stock, avoid Turbobuicks.com. Congratulations on the new car purchase.
Shut up, Monty...You're NO help!! :D In all seriousness, though...I really do plan on keeping it "fairly" stock. I'll do the usual BPU's that will put them in the low 12's with the stock turbo/intercooler but aside from that it's going to remain largely stock....Unless something happens to the stock turbo in which case I'll probably throw a TA-49 on it (and yes, Monty, I'm all TOO familiar with turbobuick.com)
My reasoning is that I remember when my little '90 was a 12.0 car and wonderfully streetable; it would go high 10's on the bottle... Fast for its time (7-8 years ago); and then I had to go and "ruin" it... It stayed largely streetable while it was in the 11's on motor, then it got into the 10's on motor, then the 9's on spray...It was just a downhill slide for streetability. Now it's getting a heart transplant with the 12.5:1 436" and MORE nitrous so it's now an "occasional" street driver. The Buick I want to keep REAL streetable so I can drive it everyday should I choose to do so.
