Spark plug wires position (looms)
Hi,
Please help me with this:
My engine always bur or cook a spark plug wire, I always have a non working piston because a damaged wire.
I have the original chevrolet looms or clips
But maybe I don`t know the correct way or position of the wires or location in the valve cover.
Please somebody posta photo of the correct position of the wires in oem looms.
I red that a lot of people have this problem and some change to an aftermarket looms.
which will be the best ?
what is the real cure for this problem

The cure? Dont let your wires touch on any piece of the exhuast.
I have ceramic spark plug boots in mine.
I also have my wires in a heat resistant covering sleeve, and all my wires are held away from my exhuast.
I had a set of looms that bolted to the center of the valve cover bolts, this kept all the wires away from the exhuast and held them in place.
