I have the autometer ultra-light boost gauge, for some reason it won't work. I installed it in one of the 4 vacume ports in the mini-ram, if I disconnect it from the mini-ram and blow compressed air in the line it works but when it's hooked back up to the mini-ram it won't. :mad
Hmmmmmm................thats were I have my autometer boost gauge line running from and it works fine.........is it showing vacumn and no boost or nothing at all? now for the dumb questions..there isn't a kink or hole in the sending tube right? its not leaking were attached to the gauge? go to the plac3e were you bought it and try another gauge.......maybe your pvc isn't working.

I just have the boost gauge, no kinks or holes in the line. I bought it from Jeg's, I called them and they said if it works when I blow air in the line then my problem is elsewhere, my pvc is new.
Is the port on the manifold working. When the engine is idling put your finger over the port see if you feel vecuum maybe the port is plugged or try the gauge on another port. Will the gauge show vacuum and no boost if so how much pressure did you have on it when it worked. If you used line pressure from the compressor you probably damaged the gauge.

All 4 ports are working fine, it's just a boost pressure gauge. I just installed it in the car, it's new from Jeg's. I spoke to the tech at autometer and he said to blow compressed air into the line to see if the needle moves and it does. I put about 10 pounds of pressure to it and it works just fine, but when I hook it back to the intake nothing happens. :(
