Input on MORE Performance
Guys,
After apparently spinning a bearing last week, I'm in the hunt for bigger cubes. I'll post more info on my motor once we begin the teardown.
One of the vendors that I'm considering is MORE Performance based on the feedback that I've been able to gather from the Forum. Just looking to get some more information on the company from folks who have had their short block and/or complete motor built with Mike @ MORE.
I'm looking at the L98 396 package very similar to the setup that 89vette is running. I know several other LTx cars on this Forum have MORE motors in them. Please chime in and give your opinions on the operation.
Specifically I'm interested in:
1) Deliverables/Workmanship
2) Customer Service (not only if problems arise, but in general)
3) Delivery Time with respect to the amount of time that was originally quoted.
4) Did you install the motor yourself or have it installed @ MORE.
5) Are you happy with this company?
Anything else that you feel is important, please feel free to add.
Other folks that I am considering for this are: Lingenfelter, Nu-Tek Motorsports and Ultra Tech Racing (a local builder).

I live pretty close by More Performance's shop. I know Skip, the guy "Friday" there. The shop is first class, I mean clean! I haven't had anything done there yet, but I really like their top end package for the LT-1. Check that, They did install a 1st to 4th bypass kit and it has worked fine. I've seen some awesome motors come out of there, they have a sweet 396 package. Ask Skip about his RED Vette. He did a nice engine upgrade. :cheers:
