Had the car out today and it started raining - hard!
Turned the wipers on and noticed that they chatter quite baddly on the 'up' stroke; they don't chatter at all moving back down to their 'rest' position.
Anybody know how to fix this? Somebody once told me that I can just twist the wiper arm alittle and it would a lieviate the chatter, but they never specificed in which direction to twist. Is this true? If so, in what direction (towards the top of the windshield or the bottom)?
I haven't used the product much on my Corvette. Maybe once or twice. And that was a number of years ago. It's good information to know - I'll stop using myself.
But I still think that my chatter has nothing to do with the Rain-X since its been so long since I last used it.
Actually when the wiper are on high, the chatter is reduced but still there.
There HAS to be a solution to this. There is no way that GM expected new customers to pay the prices they where asking for these cars new and have them accept chattering windshield wipers! I can't see ANYBODY putting up with this.
