code 42 problem please help?!!
I just jumpered my diag. conn.and got a code 42,the problem is that when i push at wot when i come to 4300 rpm the vette misfires in the engine bay the sound is coming like loud poping, the problem is that sometimes the problem comes on and i get the ses to light and sometimes it doesnt happen and everything is fine the proble starts straight from start up when it happens , if code 42 is the problem what should i do?

First make sure that the connector in the Tan/Blk wire near the brake booster is firmly engaged.
If so check for a short or open in either the Tan/Blk wire or in the Wht wire from the dist. to the ECM.
If the cabling is ok the fault is either in the ignition module or the ECM.
