first vette
just got my first vette 94 blk on blk
car runs and drives great. any advice on things to take a special look at.
has 55k
i just noticed on drivers side door there is a switch that indicates that it should pop the hatch but i have yet to get it to open with this.any idea what i
might be doing wrong or what might be wrong.

:cheers: Congrats on your 1st vette and 1st post!!! Don't know the answer to your question though, other that being sure you are pushing the button downward. Mine will slide about 1/4 inch before the hatch releases.

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your new Vette.
Try the other hatch release buttons; if they work service that button, else look into the fuse of the hatch release solenoid. Also, try it with engine running & off.

Then it's likely in the door switch or it's wiring.
You may be able to pick up another switch, if needed, from Contemporary Corvette (link on my site). They vend new and used Corvette parts.
