A test light on the fan lead with the air on, or pulling a ground on the fan relay would tell you if the relay is good or not, and 12 volts applied to the fan connector it self will tell you if the motor is good or not.
Mine had a plastic bag stuck between the fan and the radiator that burned the motor out.
And mine took the fuseable link out that is behind the battery, but I think they put regular fuses on yours. Mine is a 92.
